Film

Will Norman originally created a parody of Christopher Nolan's IMAX dedication using a £15 iMac from eBay, complete with a webcam-only setup and Photo Booth effects. The sketch went viral, and his team of 30 volunteers turned the joke into a 10-minute retelling of Homer's Odyssey, complete with improvised camera dollies and a Technocrane-mounted iMac.

The film's charm lies in its embrace of limitations: no focus control, purple color casts, and random software notifications. Yet these forced inventive solutions, resulting in a playful, handmade aesthetic. It reminds us that the most memorable visual storytelling often comes from working with what you have, not waiting for better tools.
