'Inploration': Artists and Scientists Look to the Cosmos to Reflect on Earth

Art

Curated by Lawrence Azerrad and Richelle Ellis, 'Inploration' brings together nearly 100 voices from art, science, and space exploration to reframe our perspective on Earth. The book proposes that looking outward can deepen our understanding of the planet and our place within it.

Highlights include Cai Guo-Qiang's towering firework ladder, James Turrell's celestial earthwork, and pieces by Cannupa Hanska Luger and Wangechi Mutu. Spanning installation, photography, and scientific imagery, the collection turns the cosmos into an intimate mirror for terrestrial care.
