Spok Bends Tennis Court into Optical Loop at Felipe Pantone's Casa Axis

Installation

The tennis court at Casa Axis becomes an impossible depth illusion under Spok Brillor's paint. Regulation lines multiply and fold into chrome-like gradients, making the surface appear to fall away. The optical intervention is part of an ongoing artist tournament that turns each court into a temporary, playable artwork.

Hard Court 2 responds to MRKA's earlier looser gesture with strict repetition and metallic reflections. Spok extends the court's own geometry rather than erasing it, creating a paradox where the ground is both solid playing surface and infinite visual void. A vivid collision of sport, architecture, and painterly trickery.
