Uni — The Invisible OS Layer With Full Context

Uni full screenshot

An invisible OS layer that brings local transcription and context-aware answers to Windows and macOS.

Uni trades on restraint rather than absence: a #FEFDFD canvas held at near-total brightness, then warmed by the faintest blushes of #FBE0DB and #FAD8C8, with a single cool #C3D4EB keeping the tint from turning saccharine. Screenshot capture sits at the centre of the layout, so the page reads almost like an annotated specimen sheet — the interface as exhibit, the copy as margin note. Composition is compact vertically but generous laterally, letting air do the work borders and dividers usually do. Geist carries the oversized headline while Instrument Sans handles the quieter registers, and the pairing is deliberate: a neutral geometric sans for scale, a slightly softer one for the repeated FAQ question stems. Hierarchy arrives through weight and cadence rather than size jumps or colour. The download pair — macOS, Windows — recurs as a small ritual down the page, an anchor that gives the long scroll a metrical beat. The FAQ block, those terse question headings stacked on even leading, is effectively the page's second act, and its plainness is the point. What lands is atmosphere: a utility pitched as an invisible OS layer, dressed in pale neutrals and unhurried type, insisting the product should disappear and the page should feel like the calm it promises.
