A playful internet art project that invites visitors to donate money for absolutely nothing in return, wrapped in a clean, minimal one-pager.

The palette is the first joke: a single saturated teal (#008081), uninflected and alone, lifted from a late-'90s desktop memory. The grey window chrome and white button establish no dialogue with it; they simply sit on top, indifferent. That indifference is the register — the site mimics an idle operating system rather than a promotional surface, and nothing on the page is attempting to persuade. Typography follows the same strategy: Tahoma and Courier New, no custom face, no display scale, no oversized hero. The hierarchy is deliberately bureaucratic — a title bar, a few lines of system text, one flat button. The one-viewport composition reads as a screenshot of an abandoned desktop, and the recycle bin caption ('Nothing Inside') becomes a found-object joke rather than a headline. The window chrome is the primary frame, and the interiors stay deliberately plain. Rhythm is minimal and anti-climactic: one screen, one action, a live counter at $56.50 registering a faint ongoing presence, and 'No reward. No promise. No explanation.' closing with the deadpan courtesy of a system prompt. The piece demonstrates how much conceptual weight can be carried by visual refusal — the design is not a wrapper for the joke, it is the joke, stripped of every ornament that might soften it.
