Set within an unfinished Brutalist building in Accra, Liminal captures the tension between abandonment and use. Performer Nana Yaa Poku Asare-Boadu moves through raw concrete staircases and exposed pillars with responsive, unchoreographed gestures, embodying the structure's unresolved state. Directed by visual artist Naafia Naahemaa, the short film is a somatic negotiation of space.

The film draws on interviews with women from a 1960s social housing development in Kaneshie, weaving their voices about displacement and eroded infrastructure into the visual narrative. Liminal merges movement, sound, and architecture to explore how bodies adapt when development is redirected. It offers a quiet, powerful meditation on impermanence and resilience.
