Hussein Mardini's short film elevates Cairo's sha3by dance, born in informal neighborhoods, by slowing it down and scoring it like ballet. The result is a visual dialogue between forms, questioning why one is celebrated and the other dismissed. The imagery is both gritty and graceful, capturing raw movement with a cinematic lens.

This is not just a dance film but a cultural statement. Mardini refuses to let street art be seen as lesser, instead framing it with the reverence typically reserved for Western traditions. The stills reveal powerful compositions—bodies in motion against urban backdrops, a living ballet of the people.
