Floating House Made from Collective Wishes

Installation

Jisoo Yoo's Dream House transforms personal dreams into a shared architectural experience. Participants write and draw their wishes onto garments, which are then assembled into a floating house structure. The installation rises and falls in response to the accumulated contributions, creating an ephemeral architecture that exists only through collective participation.

The project reflects on impermanence and the power of shared desire. Rather than a static building, Dream House is in constant motion, embodying the fragile and negotiated nature of home. It suggests that our environments are continuously shaped by the dreams we hold, making architecture an emotional, participatory act rather than a fixed form.
