Stella Blackmon's short film captures the in-between of growing up, following her cousin Margot in the days before her 13th birthday. Shot in the director's Missouri hometown, the film turns ordinary moments—lemonade stands, stock tank pools, diary entries—into vivid, nostalgic vignettes.
